For Cord Blood Registry, a number of different services were performed.
One service was the creation of a couple of Flash banner advertisements for use online. One banner ad, outlined below, was to raise awareness of Cord Blood Registry's services overall, while another was to for raising awareness of a promotional campaign that Cord Blood Registry (CBR) was running at the time. These ads were created using Flash and Actionscript.
A second service, related somewhat to the banner ads, was the creation of a catch page on the CBR website for viewers who had clicked on the banner ad. This was created using XHTML and CSS.
One aspect of these services is that both the banner ads and the catch page had to tie together visually while also fitting the overall look and feel of the CBR website. This was done a number of ways, as example, it is possible to see the tie among the various elements through the related color palettes, overall layouts, and animation styles.
As a note, these services were performed for Cord Blood Registry as a contractor for, and in cooperation with, Smith-Harmon of Seattle.
Please take a look above to see an example of one of the banner ads and a related catch page…
“Cord Blood Registry (CBR) is the world's largest and most experienced family cord blood stem cell bank. Accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), CBR preserves cord blood stem cells for nearly 325,000 newborns throughout the world.” —excerpt from Cord Blood Registry.
This site was created using a form of HTML5, some CSS with bits of CSS3 thrown in, and JavaScript with some help from JQuery.
I am using the fontface BPDietUltra for my headers, which can be found on FontSquirrel.
